Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton will be in New York City next month to announce the nominees for this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards. The announcement will take place Tuesday, March 2 live on CBS’ ‘The Early Show.’

The pair will be interviewed following the announcement, and Blake is scheduled to perform, as well.

Reba will host the ACM Awards for the 12th year, and is also slated to perform during the telecast, along with Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts. More performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 18 at 8:00 PM ET/delayed PT on CBS.
