Urgent help needed for Haiti after 7.0 earthquake!
![]() |
![]() The people of Haiti have been devastated by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that has just hit 10 miles west of Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince. Details are still emerging but with Haiti’s delicate infrastructure, already the destruction is immense in the poorest country in the western hemisphere. Father Rick Frechette, head of APJ for Haiti, who has single handedly built a children’s hospital, 18 street schools & numerous street clinics, and provides clean drinking water & food daily to the inhabitants of the poorest slums in Port-au-Prince, has reported that his hospital in Petionville at the epicenter of the quake has collapsed. Additionally, the St. Damien Pediatric Hospital, the Francisville Trade School, and Kay Saint Germaine Rehabilitation Center have all been horribly damaged. Homes lie destroyed, people are stranded away from their family, and many affected Haitians are in desperate need of medical attention. Your donation will go directly to Father Rick for rescue efforts for emergency medical aid, water and food, and other crucial relief efforts. Every dollar counts!!!! If you donate 200$ or more please email your receipt at owhelphaitinow@gmail.com and you will get a thank you video from Olivia Wilde!
