The “World Almanac and Book of Facts 2010” is now available and a photo of Oklahoma native, American Idol winner and all-around country superstar Carrie Underwood graces the cover. Her photo runs with an inauguration day photo of Barack and Michelle Obama and a photo of Mark Buehrle, the White Sox baseball player who pitched a perfect game this year. Representatives of the almanac say that Underwood was chosen for the cover for being one of the most memorable people of 2009 and one of the most successful winners of one of the most watched shows on television.
