Sometime between now and Thursday (Feb. 5), you need to think long and hard about how much you love Carrie Underwood. Because the handwritten lyrics of her 2007 megahit, “Before He Cheats,” are on eBay and open for bidding. They aren’t cheap ($580 as of this blogging), but I think this is one of those fan must-haves. Underwood didn’t autograph the lyrics, but songwriters Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins did. And the lyrics live on in a 13 x 16-inch frame, suitable for hanging anywhere where a potential cheater might see them as a not-so-subtle warning of what awaits any man who dares to cross an Underwood fan. Hell hath no fury like a country fan scorned, you know. Proceeds benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville. Source: CMT |
